In addition to any improvements that might be done by the watch manufacturer, ETA themselves sells four different grades of the 2824 with much variation in price-

1. Standard grade is adjusted in two positions with an average rate of +/-12 seconds/day with a maximum daily variation of +/-30 seconds/day, nickel plated with Etachoc shock protection. Nickel balance, Nivarox-2 spring, Nivaflex NO. No decorations.

2. Elaborated grade is adjusted in three positions with an average rate of +/-7 seconds/day with a maximum daily variation of +/-30 seconds/day, Etachoc or Incabloc shock protection, nickel balance, Nivarox-2 spring, Nivaflex NO. Some decorations.

3. Top grade is adjusted in five positions with an average rate of +/-4 seconds/day with a maximum daily variation of +/-10 seconds/day, Incabloc shock protection, Glycodor balance, Anachron spring, Nivaflex NM, Red Jewels. Some decorations.

4. Chronometer grade must meet strict standards prescribed by the COSC. Chronometer grade movements are serial numbered as that is a requirement of the certification authority, Incabloc shock protection, Glycodor balance, Anachron spring, Nivaflex NM, Red Jewels. Some decorations.

I only have two watches with this movement:
1. Steinhart Ocean 1 that I still have not photographed!
2. My Hamilton Lloyd-
