Can anyone suggest a watchmaker to service my Oris Small Seconds Diver? It keeps great time when hand wound but will sometimes stop while wearing it or on the winder. It's around 4+ years old and probably due for a general service and cleaning. But I dread the idea of sending it to an Oris authorized service center because it could be gone for 3-4 months based on what I know of owners sending in their timepieces for OEM service.

PM's are welcome and appreciated on this subject. If there is a watchmaker here on the forum who knows the Oris movements, that would be a bonus.

Sorry, I had to pull the reply - hope you got to see it first. We're not allowed to promote non-sponsors, and that includes watchmakers offering commercial services.

I can recommend rikthewatchmaker - Time Care Inc. - The Watch Repair Experts!

Best of luck with the service, love to see the end result when it's finished :thumbup1:
