Although I have been collecting Citizen tuning fork watches for some years I have never before seen one of these. I was hoping to buy it but the price , on a Japanese auction went for the equivalent of $US367, way out of my league.

I feel your pain. For an outdated watch of limited collector value, that price is simply uncalled for!
That's precisely the same reason why I don't own a ridiculous amount of vintage Hamiltons...they're just not worth the asking price.
I mean . . .when I comb through E-Bay listings and I see a vintage Hammy Boulton with a BIN asking price of over $500, I think to myself "What in the world kind of recreational pharmaceuticals has this clown been huffing???

What a unique piece, Garry. That would've been a nice addition to any Hisonic collection. Very angular, just don't ever damage the crystal
