A hairlock of ex-Beatle John Lennon, has been auctioned at "Gorringes" (which is an auction house in Great-Britain) for the sum of 34,000€ (some 50,000$)

I know where I will send my hair to next time...

Yes it was... Fortunately :thumbup1:

Back then, he gave it as a gift to Betty Glasow, who was The Beatles hairdresser for the movies "Hard Day's Night" (1964) and "Help" (1965). He gave her the book "A Spaniard In The Works", which contained the hair lock in a little plastic bag. In the book JL wrote: "To Betty lots of love and hair from John Lennon"
