Hi,

I just received my Grandfather's Omega back from repair.

Is this model supposed to have the stop seconds when you pull the crown out to set the time? I thought it did but the second hand doesn't stop.

By the way, which model movement does this one have?

Hi Dave. No, these did not have "hacking seconds". That should have a 55x (550 or 552) series caliber inside.

Some had the feature, most notably military A-11 watches from the WWII era. It wasn't commonly used until the 70's I believe.
