This came into our shop a while back. This "repair" was conducted by others. Okay...so it appeared to work...but very nasty treatment to a PP. This watch needed about $7k in repairs...appartently due to the owner consistently picking the lowest (unqualified) bidder. Short story...if you don't pick the AD for service, at least pick a professional whose skills are comensurate with the quality of the timepiece.

Most PP watches should go back to the Henry Stern Agency for servicing. I am not sure I would ever have my AD service my PP watch.

I have never taken mine or customer watches to an AD I have a watchmaker whoes ex rolex trained. He cant service anything!
