Has anyone else polished the cases on there watches before?
I usually do this to remove any scratches from the metal bands but this watch came with a finish that just begged for a good polishing!
Dont get me wrong, I liked my S1 as it came from Invicta but the dull finish wasnt what I preferred so I spent a little time at the polishing wheel after getting the correct micro screwdriver set needed to take the band off!
Now I love it!

I use my drill press with 2" & 4" polishing wheels.
I find its easier as it has 12 speeds.
I use White and purple polishing compounds.
It'll take a couple more passes to get the crown and chrono buttons up to par but they came out pretty good for the first session.

The inside of the bezel was already mirror polished, I was polishing the outside of the bezel.
Keeping my thumb, in a snap-on mechanics / shop glove, on the crystal to prevent any contact by the polishing wheel.

It was just a slow process as I tend to make mistakes if I rush things.
