I have been thinking of changing my SS bracelet, for a little while, to the rubber dive strap.

I see that Ofrei has it for $176 which does not include the buckle. I believe I would be getting the 22mm one since I have the 45mm PO. Nevertheless, is there anywhere I can get a rubber strap for less than this but is an authentic Omega product? Thanks

Also, I had a quick questions if I were to purchase such a strap. How would I go about inserting it. When I flip the PO around I can see the pins in place holding the bracelet. I have a specific tool for watches that looks as if it is made for such removal. However, I have never tried it. Anyone have advice? (Zin, I know you are out of this questions :D)

Out and out on the floor Mike :lol::lol:

Try looking into sales corners like TZSC for the odd strap that may come available. Look in on a daily basis or indeed several times a day would be my advice.

You can of course look at non-OEM straps which our sponsors will have.

Good hunting pal

I bought 2 other straps for my PO 45.5mm. I too wanted a change from the steel bracelet and opted for the divers black rubber strap and also the blsck rubber strap with white stitching/deployment clasp. This really looks nice and almost leather like. Quite smart with a suit!

As for changing the straps, I change them over myself and just use a micro screw driver as you would use for glasses. The flat head end fits perfectly and the spring bar just pops out. I havn't scratched the watch once doing this but if you are worried at all, take it to a jeweler you trust to do it. I like changing them over quite frequently though and I guess a jeweler would get a little annoyed seeing me every other week or so!!!

Good luck!
