Ok, I got this on FB Marketplace and I have no clue the history/year of this Omega 8 Day Travel Alarm Clock. It seems to have a pocked watch-styled body.

There are a couple on Google Images and eBay that have similar "clock holders" but I can only find one that looks like this watch face.

I have tried to open the casing, but I have no clue how to.

I was wondering what the year/history of this neat Omega clock is?

There is one on eBay stating its from the 1940's but it is older than this one. I dont know much about them but i do remember they were quite popular back in the 1950's thru to the mid 1970's. As for opening them, I'd have to think that the case back lifts straight off. Maybe someone else here knows something?

I just opened up the clock. A quick run of the serial number on the movement puts it at around 1944. Here are photos of the movement and the back of the casing.

Excellent. That movement is very clean!

According to www.serial-number-decoder.co.uk the movement was assembled in 1944 , and in all likelihood, the clock was assembled shortly thereafter.
