Let's play a game that at least one prominent watch publication plays. . . let's say that you are at a casino and win $4,000. In the casino is a Hamilton AD that is very well stocked. . . in fact has every watch in the catalog.

What Hamilton watch(s) would you buy and tell us why (optional).

Even if I like Hamiltons a lot, I honestly don't know how to spend $4000 on Hamilton watches.

I suppose if I did not have a choice but to spend it on that store, I would pick out a Solid Rose Gold Jazzmaster Power Reserve and if I have some leftover $ I'll add a plated Rose Gold Jazzmaster Chronograph.

I just love the look of the Rose Gold with a black dial and brown strap.

Of course I could also have several versions of Khakis (chronos and non-chronos) instead of the solid gold Jazzmaster. I just like the Khaki line a lot and had several different versions of them over the years.

Assuming retail prices, I think these would approach about 4k USD.

My apologies.

OK, here are my choices:

X-Wind Pilot-$1495

Venrtura 50th Anniversary LE-$695

Brooke XL auto-$695

Jazzmaster auto chrono-$1495

I have run a little over but I am sure if I ponied up to the counter, the AD will cut me a deal if I buy all with cash.

I would do as Rusty did with the exception of the Jazzmaster.
In its place I would choose the automatic version of the Ventura .
(I have no problem owning 2 Venturas)

So where's the $$$$??
