Hello everybody. Last night I did some Internet research on the Hamilton Meadowbrook and found that this site was had more information
available than anywhere else. Good on 'ya! I thought I send along a few photos of a watch that took possession of today, it's a Hamilton
Meadowbrook. It appears to be a platinum case - and appears to have an original dial and hands. I serviced it this morning, took a few
photos and wanted to post these photos so that you Hamilton historians can tell me more about what it is that I have. I contacted Rene R.
earlier today. We met some 30 years ago at a watch meet / antique show here on the west coast. It's the first time since then since we
chatted. He loves the watch, and thought that you guys would be a great resource for information on this watch. The serial number on
the inside of it's case back is: 106310, it's 979 mvt.2901164. It arrived this morning without it's crown which I recall hearing was originally
platinum. Other than a scratched glass crystal, it's purring along nicely. Any information about this watch, is scarcity, and micro particulars

Found two that were on Ebay in the last 3 months, they were 14K, not platinum, one did not sell at $1350 and the other asked $1500 and sold to the best offer which is unknown. 20 years ago they were bringing $700-800. Have no idea how many were made or sold.

I presume by now that you've determined that your Meadowbrook is white gold and not platinum? (And it's a nice one!)
