That watch looks like it's been horrendously abused in its lifetime- the Merzouga Desert? That kind of treatment is certainly unbefitting a watch of such a lofty marque! Who sold it to you? Is he reputable?
Any large, clear photos of the movement will surely help. The fact that I can't find ANY P-P's that use that particular style of hands, and the date windows are placed at the 3 o'clock position and not the six ( a position that is used with the 31-day date dial ) is making me nervous about your watch.
And are those jewelry screw heads I see on the outsides of the lugs???

It almost makes you wonder if Morocco could be a hotbed of illicit watch dealers!
