Wow!! Beautiful JBH! I'll be sure to check it out real good when I get a little more time. Since school has restarted, I'm spending a lot of time at the university, but hope to have a little time this weekend to get caught up. :cool1:

HI John, great write up and pictures  Not sure if you remember me but I'm John's friend (bimmerfest) and we exchanged emails about the 16710-3186. Hope all's well. As luck would have it, I just broke down and ordered my first PAM. A PAM88 :001_tt1: I'll post pics when I get it.

Thanks again for sharing your trip with us here :thumbup1:

John, thanks for posting this amazing tour of the Panerai plant/factory/facility (dare I say shrine :001_tt1:). Outstanding work, and a rare glimpse into the heart of the Panerai mystique (hope I'm not laying it on too thick, but this pictorial blew me away).
Now, I just have to find a model for my 7.5" wrist that doesn't make me look like a 12 year old with dad's watch on...

Fascinating tour de suisse

Wonderful inside out of the quality work being done. And the quality of these wathces we see comes from the quality control which we do not (but now we have seen their dedicated quality control).

Thanks for opening up our eyes

Nice report and wonderful photos. Thank you very much for sharing the information. By the way, which Panerai would you pick if you were given one free from the Panerai factory?
Oh gosh...that's a tough one. Part of me says that I'd just like your basic traditional black dial model. But I've seen a white dial model in the past (three hand) that I REALLY liked. Either way, I'd want one with an in house movement.
