.....do you see many Omegas?

I've seen a lot of Bond SMPs and 2254.50s, the latter in their various sizes on both men and women. In fact I know of two ladies who :001_wub: their 2252.50s and two acquaintances who wear them. Haven't seen many Speedies in a while though two of my friends have them and look very smart with them. I found it remarkable that I have seen ATs on several wrists since with the greater demand for sports watches, these are not naturally easy sellers. Only seen one DeVille though but ladies do indeed enjoy their Connies.

How about you pals? Seen many?

Hey Zin. Was it Springsteen who sang that song? As for Omegas on the street, well, the city I live in is about 60,000 people, so have not really seen any other Omegas out there. Lots of Seikos, Hilfigers and Swatches though! I think I may be the only diehard Omega fan / owner in Fredericton!

Hey good buddy Zin,

In The Street - Springsteen.

A co-worker of mine, Deron grew up down the block from Springsteen in NJ. His mother was good friends with Springsteen's mom. He knew him, but Bruce was about fifteen years older than him so he didn't really associate with him. To him he was an older guy who lived on the block. Too funny.

BTW, I'm missing my Speedy pretty bad lately even though I bought a Hamilton Khaki to ease the pain. Cool watch by the way.

I often go wrist viewing when in a public place. Unless I'm in London though it hardly ever yields any results.

Also when I come into contact with new people I always try and check out what they have on there wrist.

Every now and then I'll come across somebody with a Speedy Pro, Bond SMP, DeVille, etc. If I'm in the right situation I'll always ask them about it. Invariably it's their only watch and they bought it because they either like James Bond or are a fan of the Moon Landings, etc.

Only here, on this Forum, do I know that I will come into contact with those folk who are truly learned and know what is important in life.

Omega3 really is good for you.

I've seen a couple of SMP's and one Speedy. I tried to strike up a conversation with a gentleman wearing a SMP and he looked at me like I was a freak

Well my friend

Most of the time the folk I meet are rather delighted that someone has noticed their watches but there was an occasion just over a year ago when visiting a friend who has an organic beef stand in a foodie market I spotted a visitor with a 42.2mm black PO and commented on my find. He seemed totally unmoved :confused1:

Why bother having a nice watch I was about to say..... :001_rolleyes:

Enjoy your day :001_smile:

:)

I saw a fella at a restaurant one evening wearing some sort of Speedmaster.

while in the Caribbean I'll see the occasional Omega on a diver's wrist but it's usually a "Great White":confused1: never seen a 2254 "in the wild"... other than mine.:thumbup1:
