I like Oris and I love the TT1. My feeling about the fit and finish is that this company surprises you with what you get for your money. They switched from ETA to Sellita movements recently, which are also reliable. While I would not say Oris is the same quality as Breitling or Omega, I would also say it is very excellent for the money and most find them completely reliable. One strong quality of their watches is the styling--they have a flair for masculine design I think, although this obviously is a personal thing. The 44mm TT1 wears slightly "smaller than it sounds", so 44mm is a size that will fit most people well.
