Absolutely! Its been a crazy ride for me as well. When you take into consideration the quality, finish, detail and technology/innovation that the Ananta Spring Drive brings to the table and you compare its asking price vs anything Swiss in its immediate price range, the Seiko still comes out ahead in every front:001_tt2:

As a WIS I can appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of most Swiss watches. I just can't bring myself to pay their admission prices when Japan more than nicely covers all the bases for me.
hi,

I know exactly what yoyu mean by this,

Yesterday i compared my breitling to the ananta and i must say that the seiko really feels he is at the same level qua built quality.
The movement of the ananta wins handsdown thats for sure!, with his whopping 50 jewels and complications. This watch is really a quite revolution.

Im back. Ok, so I got the watch and the verdict is great. Orient sent it with some watch working tools for free which was awsome. The watch itself came in one of the bigger Orient boxes and its alot nicer than the one I got the Planet Orient in.

The feel of the watch is class and quality. The case feel is perfect, everything from the brushed/ polished areas to the weight. Actually its pretty light in comparison with the planet orient and slimmer all around which would be better while wearing a suit. The clasp is very nice, its slim yet feels solid and gives a good click when locking it. The bracelet is slimmer and lighter than the P.O. so chunky bracelet lovers might consider leather perhaps. But because of the watches weight its extremely comfortable. It dosent shift around very much and you kinda forget its there.

The movement is very smooth and I do like the 24hr subdial alot. It winds up quick (got 5hrs just adjusting the bracelet) and so far its looking like I may never take it to get regulated :). The crowns are pretty small but im fine with that since I wont be constantly playing with them and the screw down crown is very smooth. Its shiny/ blingy and looks way more expensive than it is, the markers and hands are chromed so in low light situations they reflect any light around making it eye catching and easy to read. Oh, and the lume seems to be good too.

Having saphire on the front and the back is a big plus because I dont feel like I need to baby it for it not to get scratched. This is especially good with this watch since the saphire on the dial is slightly raised higher than the bezel, which is a nice touch. Also, its always nice to be able to see the movement.

Well, I am very impressed with Orient (again) the quality of this watch is worth way more than what you pay. Orient has given me a new perspective on what a fine watch is. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. :) http://i1024.photobucket.com/albums/y310/sunsun33/Orient World Timer CFA05001b/DSC00040.jpg http://i1024.photobucket.com/albums/y310/sunsun33/Orient World Timer CFA05001b/DSC00043.jpg
