Hello. Been doing a ton of research looking for a new quartz watch with the best lume. I’ll just say that my experience with another company with the words Lum & Nox was not good- so I wandered upon Lum Tec. Honestly, had it not been for the forum I would have never found out about them. I immediately fell in love with the Combat B40. So today I placed an order and will have it by the end of the week! I’m partial to supple rubber straps, but I know this comes with black military & leather straps. I may consider ordering a rubber strap from Lum Tec once I know what size to order. It says it has a 22m lug but the bands come in three sizes so I may just call up and ask for recommendations from Lum Anyway- very excited to have a B40 heading my way. Thanks again for all of the previous comments about Lum Tec and making me aware of the brand. Looking forward to this being first of many Lum Tecs!

I got mine in July and wear it everyday. The Lume is amazing! I also switch out the strap occasionally, the metal on the wrist feels great!

I realize this is an old thread but I just received my first LumTec, a Combat B50 yesterday. My eyes aren’t the sharpest anymore, especially under certain light conditions, and I especially love the easy legibility of this watch!
Hoghunter- do you still have your B40? How’s it held up? Curious if you ever took them up on ‘Lifetime free battery replacement’ and how that works.

Yeah, about that...we'll probably never know. Take your cursor and hold it on Hoghunter's screen name and you'll see that the thread on8 October 2019 was the ONLY time he posted here and hasn;t been back since! Oh well!
