Today the fat “Orca” by Citizen.

Unlike the Longines Hydroconquest which weighs 35.4 lbs, because its made of pure lead the Orca weighs in at .01grams.
How is this possible? A little history about the Orca…

The Orca was the brain child of a Citizen named Benny “The Blowhole” Garner in 1847. Benny as he was known to his friends was a whaler along the coast of Lake Superior. He singlehandedly was responsible for ridding the lake of pesky whales, particularly Killer whales…or Orcas if you will.
The watch case is made of whale blubber (also known as Styrofoam) , the hands and applied markers are carved from whales.

The glow in the dark stuff is made of pure 100% moon.

The watch is powered by Eco-Drive, which means it’s powered by nature. Depending on the biodiversity of where you wear the watch will affect it’s timekeeping ability. For example in the desert the watch won’t work because there’s no nature. Nor will it work at the bottom of the ocean.

The watch is perhaps the rarest of all watches, taking Benny almost 140 years to complete.
This particular watch was worn by FDR the president of the world (at that time) in the movie "Die Hard".

It's a diver watch because it was originally designed for those guys that dive from platforms into kiddie pools at fairs and in backyards.

The band is made from more whale and designed as an emergency butter knife.
