I have emailed Omega several times about geting a new catalogue or how to get the new Omega Lifetime Magazine, and no response or catalogue/magazine has arrived at my home. Anyone had better luck than me?

Hello and WELCOME Mr Paperbill,

I actually have found the company representatives to be VERY friendly and helpful. sorry you've had a problem getting results.

I will say that it does take a couple of weeks to get a response to emails, they tend to give personal attention which takes a bit longer...

how have you tried to contact them? I will look and verify the address that has worked for me.. [email protected] I believe, attention Maria Mastadonato . I hope I spelled her name correctly.. Maria has taken care of me just beautifully, along with many others here..

good luck, and again WELCOME:thumbup:

Although I think the European attitudes are changing, they have in the past not paid as much attention to e-mails as they have to the phone. I bet you will get quicker results by calling. I don't think this is reflective of Omega, but of European attitudes in general.

Maria M. is ''our'' favourite contact in Bienne.
She takes her work very serious and is always friendly and generous too Omega customers.
Sometimes it might take a while before you get a answer, be patient, she will answer your question/request.

Greetings Mr Paperbill

A warm welcome to WTF and OMEGALand.

It takes a while for requests to be fulfilled since the request is collated and then forwarded to the regional centre nearest to where the request originated. As you may also imagine it is not a big department that handles all manner of requests be they for for catalogs, information in respect of serial numbers, yr of manufacture, techincal and all other data ranging from the mundane to that which is pretty finite in nature.

Your catalog will come. There has also been a run on catalogs recently so they may be undergoing a reprint.

In the meantime there is always Omega's website of course and the archives in our resource section, the latter of which contains material sourced directly from Omega's Press Room. A good proportion of that will be material you won't find a catalog ;)

Hope you'll continue to enjoy your watches and indeed please do drop in and share in the daily talk and fun we have here in OMEGALand.

All my best

My friend

I was just thinking that if you haven't as yet, registering on a picture host like Photobucket will enable you to post pictures directly into the body of your text.

Here's a quick guide which I wrote for members here a while back -

1. Register with a picture host like photobucket.com
This is a free service for up to 1,000 images.

2. Once registered, use the choose or browse function on your photobucket homepage to locate the image you wish to post, from your hard drive

PLEASE REMEMBER to set the maximum size of the image
800 x 600 is best
Anything else would make viewing and accessing the page for users difficult.

3. Click SELECT and then UPLOAD

4. Once uploaded, simply copy the fourth option under each image on your photobucket homepage and paste it into the body of your text here. This fourth link is the Image Tag.

Hope this helps.

Be well now :001_smile:

I feel your pain. I went via their website, which I beleive routed me to their NJ office, though I can not say for sure. 4 requests, 4 emails inquiring about my request, and 7 months with no reply. Then finally, a catalog arrives out of the blue when I gave up hope. It has made me very hesitant to purchase one, b/c my thought process is, if they can not respond to a simple catalog request, what happens when I need service on my watch?

While others, especially on here, speak very highly of Omega watches, poor customer service, in any form, makes me very shy of doing business with any company.

I think Omega are a very friendly company.

I asked for an Omegamania catalogue last year and they sent me one out of the blue as really I wasn't expecting it. They must have had so many requests but one came just in time for the auction.

I didn't buy anything though.

Perhaps next time.

This is a nice place - thanks to the admins, members and Houston who invited me. I had been meaning to register for weeks. Hope I can pop in often

Bye for now

The first time I requested a catalog from their website it took several months, the second time it came in under a month.

Two weeks ago I requested a COSC cert. for my AT. I got an e-mail back in a few days acknowledging my request and yesterday received the certificate from Bienne.

About 8 months ago, I used a tip-in card from one of the watch mags, requesting catalogues from a variety of makers. Since that time I have received only 2 (Panerai and Hublot). The rest kinda blew me off, which is too bad, since I buy many watches and can be influenced by looking at a brochure/catalogue. I did buy a Panerai, but not a Hublot, so Paneria's efforts paid off. Marketing departments should be more alert to interest from potential customers. After all, that's the only reason they exist: to promote their products. Oh, well.....I do have an Omega catalogue given to me by my AD and I've already picked out a couple of watches I intend to buy.
