The trick to telling if it's dial or crystal damage is to see the watch from different angles. If the scuffs/scratches/marks remain in the same spot they're on the dial, and if they 'move' then they're on the crystal. Not enough photos to tell for sure but I've rolled the dice on similar conditioned watches and won. One worry is the hands show some tarnish or rust. Makes the gamble have odds a little more against you.
