I am just writing to introduce myself.
A few weeks agao I was walking through a a shopping mall in Manila and saw a watch display in a window. It was for Ball watches and it alternated between bright normal light and black light. For some reason, black light really bring out the 3H illumination (does anyone know anything about this?). Regardless, I knew straight away I had to have one.
I shelved my plans for a Breitling Aerospace and started reading about the Ball Watch company. I found that the story behind the company, the technologies being used, the value for money and the low likelyhood of the guy sitting next to you having one have all contributed to my decision to buy it.
Being a frequent traveller, I initially chose the EMII, GMT2 as my preferred model.
So back to Manila last week and on Friday I popped into the local Authorised Dealer for a look. Sadly, upon seeing the GMT 2 in the flesh, I was just not happy.
Then I saw it...........your recent watch of the day - the EMII Diver COSC with a stainless steel bracelet. Needless to say I was hooked. After checking with the Minister of War and Finance (i.e. the wife!) I popped in on Friday morning and grabbed it.
I was very happy with the price - it wasn't hard to get about 35% off the RRP and with the strong Aussie dollar I believe the purchase represents excellent value for a certified watch.
Anyway, thanks very much for the website here - I spent a quite few hours here on thursday night reading your comments and stories and you helped convince me to buy the watch.
