Kinda cool looking dress piece,probably looks better than it should.Picked it up for a couple dollars...literally...not running but a battery should fix that if I can get the back off.Did some checking on the auction site and therein lies the problem,priced from $35.00 on up to $900.+??? I'm not that naive to think that this is a $300.00 watch but why all the discrepancies??

Quartz vs. Automatic makes a difference. So does the grade of movement, how well all the parts fit with each other, where you buy it, or the kinds of materials used. CROTON is a perfect example. You can go to the Swamp and drop a couple grand on a higher-grade Croton. I got this one at a "nationally known coat factory outlet" for 79 bucks.
