Well after waiting for almost 2 months for my white dial that I ordered to replace the black carbon fibre dial for my Reserve Speedway I decided it was time to call Invicta to see what the status was on my order.
After speaking with Rebecca she said that the order should not have been taken to begin with and that they don’t sell parts like dials. The only way she said I am going to get my dial swapped out is to ship the watch to them and they will send it overseas to have the dial changed which will take about 2 months. Had I known this to begin with I could have shipped it 2 months ago and the watch would be back by now.
Ask me if I am happy with this turn of events. Why was I not phoned or emailed? They had both, it would have been nice to know instead of waiting 2 months. I guess I should have listened to the first guy I spoke with on the CS deask when he said they don't order in parts. Not too sure why this post came through twice?

Now I guess I am going to have to send the watch to Invicta and wait another 2 months. YEAH!!

So, was appearance the sole issue with the orig. face? I'm kind of amazed that they'll do this kind of custom work. Congrats, but too bad about the CS misunderstanding and the long wait. At least you'll get what you want in the end, which is the main thing.

The place I ordered my watch from screwed up the delivery address ( I was thinking they were delivering to my P.O. Box, so I had to wait while we got UPS on the right track and I just learned that the package is waiting on the porch as I write this. I'll have my first Invicta in a few hours. Yeah!

Eyal said on a show recently that there would be no dial switching. I heard him loud and clear. I knew it was gonna be trouble and that is why I had to sell my triple black speedway in which I could not read the time in certain lights and darkness and replace it with the triple black Subaqua.

That's why I went with the cheapo quartz model. I have a white and black dial for less than the price of the Reserve. I have a brown strap on the way for the white dial, so in essence, I have 3 Speedies for less than the Reserve :w00t:

Sorry to hear about that. Glad I held off trying to order a new dial for mine. I think I'm just gonna live with my triple black speedy the way it is.

Thanks Dave,
It may be back to plan A and have the ends of the hands painted with lume. The only thing the watchmaker was worried about was the distance between the hands and whether or not they will rub together. He said the lume paint is very thick so we will see what he says.

Hey Don, that clearance should'nt be a problem. Look at some of my SANII photos. The lume is super-thick and they clear fine. I still think thats a better bet than a re-dial. Plus it makes your watch truly one-of-a-kind.
