Hi, new to the forum and I have a question about the NH35A movement on my Invicta 3044. When I hand wind it the movement stays charged for at least 30 hours, however, if I just wear the watch normally for a day, and we are talking all day it doesn't stay charged for more than 10 hours max. Usually, it's like this, I'll wear it all day and take if off when I go to bed and it will either not be running when I get up or it will stop within a few hours if I don't put it on right away.

The only watch I can compare it to is my 9010 which will stay charged for a couple of days it seems on a short days wearing. Watching the movement of both the 9010 seems very loose compared to the 3044. Can someone tell me if this is a problem with the 3044 or do you think it just needs to be worn more, it is only a month or so old?

I don't know how active you are but if you're not it won't wind up on your wrist much. My father now a senior citizen can't wear automatics unless he manually winds them as he isn't active enough to fully wind by his wrist movements. I would say just wear it more.

LOL Perhaps you're both correct since I am in fact a 'senior citizen!' :eek:hmy: Perhaps it's time to break down and pick up a couple of winders for the few automatics I own in my collection. Thank you, young-ins'! :001_smile:

I haven't seen any problem with my NH35A movements so far and I have 2 of them. I make it a habit to wind them every morning (about 25 turns each) unless I'm going to wear one, then I wind that one about 15 turns. So far they are running all the time and keeping good time. My guess is a watch winder would be a good solution. There are some inexpensive ones out there, under $100 in some cases. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

@ reddevilbr Thanks for the welcome and I'm also winding the 3044 each morning about 20 to 25 times a day and that has taken care of the problem. The 3044 has become one of my favorite watches. I enjoy it's size and weight and it actually looks like it fits my wrist!:thumbup1: I bought it to be an 'occasion' watch and it has become more of my daily wear piece. Thanks again guys!
