This watch was purchased by my grandfather in 1952 in Geneva. Monogramed the back and given to my father..subsequently passed down to me. Will attempt to post some photos. Is it authentic? Any info regarding current value or where I can get help with appraisal would be greatly appreciated.

diifficult to say with those pics.
Initially I thought ref 1579 but it appears to have a large double PP crown which suggests an automatic movement.-if not then a ref 1579 manual wind
