New Year Resolution(s)

I had a great New Year Resolution! To slow way down on my watch purchases!:)
As I have now ordered two from December 26 to today I have already broken it!
I could take the position that I purchased them in 2007 but I will receive them in 2008 and one of them I will not be charged for until 2008 so no spin will change the fact I have already broken mine and it is not even New Years Day!:crying:

How about the rest of you? Any New Year Resolution(s)?:confused1:
If yes, will you stand by it/them?:confused1::confused1::confused1:

None here really, except I wouldn't mind to drop off about 20 pounds, otherwise, I feel I'm good to go. I never kept them anyway! Lol, this watch stuff is too fun to stop!
My one and only resolution is to not purchase a new (to me) watch until June. It's a tough resolution to keep (I actually made it in September), especially hanging around you guys, always showing off your new wares!:D
Mine is to curtail arguing on watch forums, and to remain a member in good standing here at WTF until at least 2009!
Way to go, Mr. banned. I'm proud of you.:thumbup1:
I'm fat, ugly, I drink, I smoke and I am an Invicta addict. I have lost all hope so I have given up on New Years resolutions.
Start running again, pay off my credit cards, and get my hands on a Ball Engineer Master II Diver in either green or gray. We'll see how many I can stick to.
Enjoy my current collection more, so less new watches for 2008 (a lot less).
Start running again for me too. Smoke less (I won't go with the stopping because it's not gonna happen anyway). Drink less (quit the wiskey and drink more beer). Finally try to save up for my favorite watch. Loose some weigth.

Now thats 5. If only one will work out I'm happy. Crossing my fingers here it's gonna be the watch one...

Hey... that sounds like me. Glad I'm not alone!

There are a lot of us out there Dave, we should form a support group (IIISSG) Insecure Invicta Idiot Savant Support Group. I can give up all of my addictions with the exception of women and Invictas!
Loose 40 pounds(probably not in one year), and go back to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby this year in May.
I would say that I try to steer clear of New Year's resolutions. Though some of the ones mentioned here might not be bad ideas for me. More guitar playing this coming year is a definate must.
I've given up almost everything that I used to think made life worth living and while I'm still not sure that life is worth living, I'm getting along quite well without those things.

Life has been a near continuous process of self-improvement, punctuated by periods of relapse and stagnation, but on the whole, I'm a better man today than I was last year.

New year's resolutions have never worked for me. What has worked for me is to keep on the path to improvement and never lose sight on the goal, regardless of how many obstacles get thrown in my way, either by others or myself.

Remember, it's all about values and it ain't over till it's over.
Get back on the healty eating wagon.

Happy New Year everyone!
Hey Pete, welcome to the Original Invicta Forum. ..:thumbup1:
