Hi all,I am new to Ball watch.

What do you all think of Ball watch? Thought of getting one soon. Engineer hydrocarbon Titanium looks cool.
I have a few questions on Ball hopefully someone will help out:

1) Which country is Ball watch made?
2) Is it true that lumine in ball will grow brightly for 25 years? Thought it is only tritium.
3) Can the lumine be replace after service period is over?

Hello Teo, and welcome to WTF!

Ball is one of the most exciting mid-priced Swiss Made watch with a rich American history from the late 1800s.

1) Ball is manufactured in Neuchatel, Switzerland and their HQ is there as well.
2) Their Night Lume is incredible and is expected to last 25 years. However the Tritium Tube Light (TTL - which is gas filled) will have diminished brightness after 12 years. This is normal even for painted lume.
3) Ball will replace them for a nominal fee, I am told.

The EH Titanium is a very nice watch. :)

I dont think so. I was priced by Ball Malaysia for a COSC movement replacement. I thought it was very reasonable. If it is replection of the company, I would assume the dial would be reasonably priced too.

Also, the dial does not necessarily have to be replaced when the tubes are replaced. If the dial is still in good condition, we can leave the original dial and just replace the tubes.

Pricing for the tube replacement service has not been set, as all BALL watches are either still under their original warranty or too new to require such a service.

Welcome to the forum, Teo!

Jeremy, I stand corrected. Please update us soonest as this question periodically popped up to prospective customers researching their next purchase. I am sure the prices for the dial, hands and lume tubes can be easily established as these parts already exist in Ball's inventory. Thanks again and I do think Ball gives the best bang for the buck in backing their watches comparatively to Rolex or Omega.

Cheers!

So many decisions! Okay I do love my original UTC labelled dial. I think the originality of this model will stand out for a long time as being one of the originals of the batch. :T

I shall be visiting London in a couple of weeks time & I hope to see this very watch as it does interest me greatly.
I love the lume shots.
I think that the only AD's are Jura & Selfridges, would anybody be able to confirm this?

Hi and welcome...here is a link from the Ball Site. Also appears to be a place in Leeds.

Perhaps you can call or email and see if dealers have been added.

Well BALL definftely hit a big bang on omega and rolex but they are still not on the same league. Maybe if BALL really come out with they P/C or Tn movements then they would really give omega and rolex or even panerai, breitling, Bell&Ross a go for their money.

Remember what they do have however: h3 Illumination! :T

Non-replicated (to date) models. A great bunch of people who are fans watching the company develop and grow. Geoff (Sukispop) mentioned that growing pains will be experienced by all of us, but BALL is one company that is listening.

Try asking Rolex to make a change to one of their designs!
