Boy, do I like the new "Legend" watch. I'm wearing my "2001" LE today and the dial has a similar look due to the carbon fiber material. It also has only the 1 on the dial, no other numbers. I like the 1-7 on the new one. That is truly a great tribute to Michael Schumacher, the greatest driver of all time. Hal

The Speedy Legend is priced at £2875 in the UK so I imagine it will be around $5500 in the US.

Quite a large watch I have to say but then again, you'll need all that extra space to present Michael Schumacher's achievements.


Tell you what though.

I saw the De Ville Chronoscope at the Omega Boutique in Bond Street on Monday and was quite impressed by it. Beautifully finished, the pointer of the hour counter at 6 o'clock has a longer and shorter side which perfectly links up with the two-tiered markings on the subdial - how clever is that :thumbup1:

The Rattrapante employs this principle for its' continuous seconds counter at 9 o'clock.
