The sand is an interesting color, never seen that before. I did see the offering on Shop last night. Looks like the same bracelet that's on the model 1002.
Bill, you mentioned that you recently got a watch winder, as a watch order perk.

How about a review, of the winder?

Thanks.
Tim
Not what I expected in the Green, but it might make for an interesting piece to add to the collection. I think I might have to give the 38mm a try, I wouldnt mind having a small diver for daily wear, and then my wife could borrow it as well!

The winder is actually better then I thought it would be for $35.00. I got it from worldofwatches but didn't come as a perk, that was the regular price. I ordered it with my blue automatic diver because I got the watch at such a good price. The winder is compact, runs on a/c or battery (4 AA's), has 3 direction settings and 3 rpd settings. It's so quiet you don't even know it's on, there is an LED inside the front window which blinks when the winder is on but not turning. I use it every day to wind my Seiko because it can't be hand wound. It's only a couple of months old but so far, a great buy and my Seiko is always wound and set. My grade.....A

Those colors are interesting. Wonder if the real deal looks the same.
Bill, just checked WOW, those winders are now $79, I might have jumped on one if it were still $35

Keep checking, the price goes up and down all the time. They also have a double winder with a removeable jewelry box on top that usually goes for $88.00. Right now it's $209 but if it comes back down to $88 would be worth the purchase especially with FREE shipping!!

Colors are definitely interesting. I might consider the blue one- I wish they would release some new grand divers with a 38mm case in more traditional colors (dark blue, black, yellow). Any idea if the smaller GD's will have the high quality bracelets with the machined clasps and SEL?
I got the Blue one at a Flash Price of $136.

I bought it for the Coin Edge Bezel, and Movement.
I have Bezel Inserts and Dial's from older Miyota Grand Divers, I'm going to Mod.

Sounds cool. Post up some pics when you're done. Please!
Any one have a blue 13859? Would like to see soma actual wrist shots for sizing purposes.
My love affair with my Grands is the 47mm size, what is the 38mm suppose to be, the ladies version? I don't care for the sand color, but I like the other two.

I have one of the red travel winders from WOW that came with a watch purchase and was surprised by the quality of it also. I use mine for my ETAs and my 'GRAND' EL Park Avenue!
