Cool inscription indeed! What do you make of it?

West Point Volunteer Fire Company? ("Serving since 1904")

West Pennsylvania Volunteer Fire Company?

West Point Valley Forge (but how does "Co" fit in?)

West something else? (Can't be West Pennsboro volunteer firies - they only started in 1967)

Stales...

Information was given to me..and looked up on Google ... Fire Chief West Point PA Volunteer Fire Department. Appears he died in the Line of Duty on 8-8-1965.

I am sure he was highly thought of by the community he served as well as the men who served under him. A hero, as are so many other Public Servents.

Not sure if he had family or not, but if it were my Dad... I would have kept it in the family for sure.

Nice addition, Bob. That dial looks like it's in great shape- wouldn't mind owning one of those myself! :thumbup1:
