Got this from an Estate sale (Silent auction for charity) a while back. According to the gentleman that had it, it circa 1970 production with a caliber of 5xx (he wasn't sure). He said it had the piece serviced last year.
Overall I would say it's in decent condition (Being a 40+ years old watch). I don't know how to open the caseback (Not a vintage watch person).

Can anyone in the know-how tell me a bit more about this piece? I am thinking of selling it as I'm a diver kind of guy. This one just sits in the velvet cushion doing nothing.

Many thanks, Dom

Hi Dom. You have a late 60's or very early 70's Constellation C-case reference 168.029 with a caliber 751 and what we call a knurled bezel. It's gold capped, meaning a relatively thick layer of gold compared to plating but nothing as valuable as solid gold. Raw, meaning unserviced, it'll probably sell for $500 - $600.
