I inherited this watch from my grandmother and would like to know more about it. I've had trouble placing the exact model/style number. It seems similar to the 3285/23 but it has a leather strap and no numerals on the face.

I'm interested in knowing as much as I can about this lovely watch. What year it was made etc.... It works nicely and is in good condition.

Thank you!

FYI In cae anyone needs to know....

I'll answer my own question. I got some expert advice. This watch was made in 1970 and is a 3275 2.

It is worth about $3 to $4K at auction and $5K for insurance.

Can anyone help me with this question however: can I change the original leather wristband to fit my wrist without affecting the value? My wrist is larger than my petite grandmother's. I'll get another leather wristband and keep the PP buckle.

Thank you for the help and for this wonderful forum!

replacing of the leather strap is not going to effect the value.
If by chance the current strap is original - keep it on the side,
but if you are going to wear the watch, get a strap that you
will like and that will fit you well.
