Hey Pals

When I researched into the auction of Ed White's Speedmaster

http://watchtalkforums.info/forums/showthread.php?t=394

I came across a fascinating new chart of Speedmasters which were issued to astronauts and used on missions. It is the the result of a three-year project by Ricciardo Canova and Gino Balbi with data obtained from Washington and Bienne and lists the Speedmasters used from the Gemini through to the Apollo-Soyuz and Skylab missions. The painstaking work of Ricciardo and Gino is continuous and further information may be obtained from their website at www.speedmaster.it

I realize we specify a maximum image size of 800 x 600 guys but it was the only way I could reproduce this chart in its' intended format as a fitting tribute to its' creators.

Enjoy and be well now

Thanks Pal.

Well Ricciardo has joined us recently and soon will Gino too I understand. It will be a great opportunity for us to be able to welcome them to WTF and participate in discussions with them.

Have a good week ahead

That Mr Wautersjr as you may know, refers to Buzz Aldrin's missing Speedy. It was believed to have been shipped to the Smithsonian but it never arrived.

A few years ago there was a watch that was claimed to have been Buzz's lost watch but apparently examinations by NASA presumably, stated that it wasn't.

This I would say is the " Real Grail Speedmaster ":biggrin::biggrin:

Catch you soon pal
