My first Rolex-appraisal and authentication?

I received a TT Submariner w/ the slate serti dial for my birthday from my wife. It is a K serial# and was bought from a reputable jeweler (not authorized dealer) in business for 25 years. I want to have it appraised as well as authenticated. I found a jeweler nearby to do this. They as well have been in business for a long time. The charge to do this is $75.00. Here is something else they offer, this is from their website. Thoughts?

Our on-site watchmaker has more than 43 years of experience repairing watches and is part of an elite group of watchmakers authorized to repair Rolexes.

But his talent isn't the only thing that makes our $159 Rolex overhaul the best deal for your dollar:

* Instead of just bathing your Rolex, our watchmaker takes it apart and cleans it.
* We include the gaskets in the basic overhaul price (Submariner models extra).
* We guarantee your Rolex overhaul for one full year from the date of repair.
* We complete all our work on premises and our turnaround times for repairs are some of the shortest in the business.
* We return to you any Rolex parts we replace in the original Rolex packaging, so you know the parts are genuine.
* While other jewelers use generic parts, we use only genuine parts direct from Rolex.

I thought I heard that you cant get Rolex parts anymore. Only Rolex it self has the orginal parts. Just what I heard.
This gentlemen could very well have a Rolex parts account. Or perhaps is associated with someone who does.

The price is good - perhaps too good. I'd ask for some referals of previous customers.
Thanks for the replies. The most important thing right now to me is having the watch authenticated. I'm confident with the history of the store it was bought from it won't be an issue. However, I'm going to make certain before too much time passes (just got it about 5 days ago).

I will check references as well.

Thx!

Just got back, it's official-I'm authenticated and appraised. Popped the case back off and gave me the movement number as well as the serial number which of course matches up to the paperwork given when I bought the watch.

I asked them about their service-the manager said they do have a Rolex parts account. Seemed very knowledgeable and they were extremely helpful.
Ok Ok so where are the photos??

Sorry about the glare, it was nighttime. Looks like it needs a cleaning, too.
