Hi,

I just got my first Patek as a gift from my Dad on my 37th birthday, he has an impressive collection of watches and gave me his Patek Aquanaut 2005 (I guess he is going to buy the new one). I love the watch, and always have, and he knew it was one of my favorite ones.

I guess I have to take care of it, to give it to my son (4 years old) as a tradition.

I have a question, the watch has a metal strap, can I buy the rubber one? and how much will it cost?

Thank guys,

GM

Hi,

Nice watch you got...

I bought my 5167 also with metal bracelet. As such it is a very nice watch.

Last spring I ordered from the Geneva Salon the rubber strap plus the folding clasp. The price was 1,080 Swiss. Now my 5167 is a fantastic watch - in my opinion the most comfortable watch there is.

So yes; you can have both the metal bracelet and the rubber strap.

Best, Kari
