Pina Colada drink is really tasty also. Love the crispy ends of their dogs with onions...

Only got there once. We were stuck at Fort Dix for a week and "did" Manhattan. Actually, Manhatten did us, but we had a blast. Our rental car was stolen Midtown in one of those parking schemes. What did we know - the guy had a business card. We were easily spotted as rubes. The cop looked at me like I had on rubber boots, carrying a pitchfork and asked "What were you thinking? Where are you from?"

whoa. never heard of that before. at least it was a rental and not YOUR car! sorry about the experience, but glad you still managed to enjoy it. Next time you're in town, you need to stop by the Tourneau store on 57th St. 4 floors of watch window shopping! They don't carry Lum-Tec's though :(

The 57th st Tourneau store is like a watch lovers Mecca, there's noting else like it.

Don't overlook the one on 34thst above Penn Station. It's small but I bought a 70 dollar brown strap there that makes People think my citizen is a $3000 watch when they can't get a real close look.

Lume shot of the M9.

72 and Broadway was a corner on my old post when i was a beat cop. The Subway staton was re-done in the late 90's . The recession special was 2 hot dogs and a papaya juice for $2.00.
If you went a few blocks up you hit P7G bar and Grill. and south on there next to the Ahyden hall post office on W 62 street was one of the last luncheonette/pharmacies in teh city. Burger Deluxe and coke for $6.00.
Right east of there is the Dakota building where John Lennon was murdered and just acrosss Central Park West is Strawberry Fields in Central park.
Great pic on the lum Tec!
Id be tasting those Gray's papaya for days!
