Finally got around to shooting my case and winder.
El cheapo Steinhausen winder. Looks better than it works, nice to have the extra strorage for my EcoDrives

My storage case I got in 2006. At the time, I had 4 watches to put into it. It's dangerous to have room for more watches ;)

dang - disappointing to hear that the Stienhausen winder case isn't working the way you'd expected because I was really interested in that exact same winder (or a couple of them).
So does it keep the auto's wound?
Does it make excessive noise?
Is it AC powered?

It has great features. Can wind clock and counter clockwise, or both. It can be set for different intervals between winds and wind length. The 2 divers don't seem to keep wound on it. I don't know if it is because they are heavier than the Orients or not. At first it was quiet. But over time (I've had it about a year) it has gotten noisier. Not enough to keep me or my wife awake, nor enough to wake us. It is AC powered. For the price, it's not too bad. Would I buy another, no. I don't think a winder is really that necessary.
