I usually shy away from GP Accuquartz cases as they are often in poor condition and were electroplate instead of one of the older methods using thicker plating. Last year I purchased one exactly like the watch below but re-sold it because I wasn't happy with the condition. This watch arrived today and it is in outstanding condition and a keeper. When they appear for sale and are in good condition the going price is usually higher than most other Accuquartz SS or GP models. It's not perfect but it is very, very close! Nice bullet link band, too.

I put a couple bids on that item back on the 3rd... Held at $85.99 for a couple hours.

Got distracted the morning of the 9th and missed out on my final offering I was prepared to make ($155.99)...

Glad to see it was in the condition I felt it was and you were successful there, Oliver.

I have that same model Accuquartz though the condition of mine is nowhere near as good, mine was a pawn shop find and was one of the first 5 tuning fork watches I owned. It gets worn quite a bit. My wife still says it is the prettiest one I have. Very nice addition to your collection.

Thanks for the kudos! Often this model isn't in very good condition. The gold electroplate on the case and band takes a beating plus the dial often deteriorates. The dial is painted with a clear coat and you often see pieces of the clear coat lifted away from the dial surface taking with it the sec/minute hash marks. If you look carefully at the pic you will see the top portion of the 59 sec/minute hash mark missing - even on a watch that appears to have been cared for. The thin link where the band joins the case is often deformed because it cant handle the stress of daily wearing.
