I wasn't paying 100% attention to this news but here is what I recall hearing. . . Citizen Miyota has two new mechanical automatic movement updates that will be formally introduced at Basel in the spring: the 8245 and the 8247 each with new complications not found on the 8215 or 8205. You have to know that Invicta probably has these babies on order. . .

I've read somewhere, they're working on a higher beat movement with hacking feature... But don't remember where :confused1:

These movements would have to compete with the old ETA movements and the 6R15 and 6R20 from Seiko...

Here's a nice site where you can find all current Miyota movements together with all the specs...

Needless to say, the new ones aren't listed yet :cursing: But it makes a nice referance site to keep...
