This is the first I noticed that the hands appear to have a different lume colour to the markings on the dial. :huh:

I actually kind of like it. :thumbup1:

P.S.
I must congratulate Chris on picking what I think is the nicest brown colour to compliment any bronze watch and the lume colour on the dial is just perfect.

Chris,

Can you stop showing favoritism for the M54 and put up some M53 black dial pics?

It's hard to appreciate the 3D dial. Any close-ups would be a plus.

Doc, the M53 is welded on Chris's wrist. The M54 was the one I was able to pry from him so I could take pics.

Just by looking at the picture, I thought it was the black version, the brown is darker than the mock up so it fooled me.
Yes please get the black posted asap I have a hunch it will make the bronze stand out more, may perceptually look brighter even though it isn't.

Edit: It's always good to know a watch lover/collector and the owner of a watch company likes a watch I am going to buy that much.

If he won't, then follow these steps:
1) place soft pillows on the ground
2) Whack Chris over head with hard object to knock unconscious.
3) As Chris falls, position pillows so watch is protected from fall.
4) take pictures of M53 on wrist.
5) post up wrist shots.

See, the solution is simple!!!! :001_tt2: :lol:

I'm with you Bill, that brown dial is far darker than other Bronzes out there and IMO Chris has got the brown shade just right and it intensifies the bronze.

I wonder what the split of sales will be between the two.

Agreed, but if i had side by side to compare, i could burn up more time at work
