Do you think that Rolex will change the color of the 24hr hand back to red?
Maybe the GMT lettering back to white or red?

Are they green now because of the 100th birthday?

Just wondering.....

I think you might be on to something here. Many folks want a true 2 color ceramic bezel, but the fill of the letters in Blue and Red might be a good compromise of the technology for the bi-color bezel doesn't workout.

It would make the early gmt2c's like the red Subs. Maybe!

I personally would perfer the red because it is easier to see on the dial.

Just a thought...

Actually, you've gotta wonder if, having seen the Leopard Daytona (and other jewel encrusted models like it) if Rolex has lost touch with the definition of "a bit much.":lol::lol:
LOL!! Or all those diamond creations, like the diamond, sapphire, ruby encrusted GMT's...

Actually, without seeing one, I think a GMT IIc with black bezel & red / blue numbers would look pretty nice... Kind of an inverting of the original..

Though to be honest, I'd be very surprised if they changed the GMT IIc so soon after rolling it our. A new variant is possible, but I'd doubt they'd make a major change.. But then again what do I know...

I'm hoping for the two color bezel.

I think you are right about the red/blue/green.

JH is right. Some of the "Fancy" models I wouldn't wear. I would just trade it on a more practical model.
