Has anybody heard about Matterhorn-1865 watches. A search on the net does not come up with anything much. These watches are being sold on eBay and BTW they look great. Wish to check with someone who has used this watch before I put my money into it.

Has someone heard of LAMBERTI - OROLOGIAI watches ? Again these are being sold on Ebay.

Welcome to the forum sir. I'm not familiar with any of the brands you mentioned, but I'm sure someone will be along to help you. There are so many e-bay and auction brands out there it can get confusing.

Never heard of them. Did a search too, and it looks like all the ones on that Auction Site are being sold by the same seller. Also, they say Swiss in the description, but they don't say what is Swiss. There is no Swiss markings on the dials or caseback that I can see (and they give some detailed pictures), so I'll assume they aren't a swiss movement. Also, they all seem to be quartz, no autos. Even the Matterhorn "corporate" website doesn't give any details for the watch.

I just looked them up on e-bay. Very typical of most auction brands, but I guess you can't really lose too much for 50.00 bucks. They claim a bogus swiss heritage with a long storied past that always seems to be written by the same person. They are not Swiss watches. I did notice that one had "Swiss Ronda" emblazoned at the 6 position. I don't even know if that is an acceptable way of claiming "Swiss Movement" or not. Obviously they ship out of Germany, but I would imagine they are Chinese. The grammatical errors in the description are more Asian in nature. For just a few dollars more, you can certainly buy into an established watch brand that you will probably be happier with.

Hello, I have a Matterhorn 1865 cronograaf in goldplate nr PA-139, waterproof 10 atm,this watch is not used and in perfect state.
