Call me crazy, but I could've sworn I recently saw an M45 chronograph with a polished case that sold on ebay. I googled M45 to see what was for sale and a photo showed up in ebay's (UK, I think) 'sold' listings. Did anyone else happen to see this...or was I hallucinating?

The owner had it custom polished after buying it. I've seen it for sale a few times (I'd be surprised if more than one person has done this) so I think he's had trouble moving it. Probably should have left it stock.

Thanks for the info. I tracked down an original M1 about a year ago and love it. That's why I was so intrigued by the polished case on the M45...thought it looked pretty good, myself.
