Hi all..I have enroute a "Z" series Daytona with a meteorite dial. The hands, atleast on the photos I see on line, all appear silver with a black center line.
Do the hands luminesce in the dark? Just curioius.
Best,
Alan

They do, yes. There's a small strip of lume on the hour and minute hand, as well as on the hour markers.

To be fair they don't really glow much.
That's true - the amount of glow you get from luminous paint is directly proportional to the surface area on which it's applied. The Daytona hands and hour markers don't have a great deal of surface area to work with, relatively speaking.

No Luminescence on Hands!

Hi all..just got the watch...a beauty indeed! Z series manufacture.
Hands are silver with thin black stripe in center...no luminescence!
3, 6, and 9 hour markers are small black rectangles...no luminescence!

I think later more recent models have a luminescent stripe in the hands...my model does not.
Best regards,
Alan

Interesting - can you post a photo of the dial?
