Thanks for the votes. Even though silver seems to have the slight edge, I liked blue dial better, THOUGH, I admit, the blue hands against the silver dial are an awesome combination. I really like the lugs and retro look, and the blue dial, plus I don't have the ETA 2895 in my collection, so I pulled the trigger on this one.

Did a little more research on this watch. Hamilton first released this watch in a limited version of 1892 pieces. It used the Unitas mechanical movement and had a case size of 46.5 mm. It also included a wooden box which could display the watch sans the band in a nautical themed contraption that allowed you to wind it as well.
That version is now hard to find and at the one place that had it--it was $2700. Though I have to admit, the case sitting on the desk was intriguing displaying the watch would be a nice addition to any collection.
Afterwards, Hamilton released another version of the watch,(the one I posted) based on the ETA automatic movement, with a case size of 40mm, and the benefit of a date window.
The only negative I could find against the 40mm version was that the second hand dial was a tad small.
