Is it solid gold? We'd have to see the hallmarks to tell. If it says something about the guarantee on the case (like "20 year warranty") than it's gold filled, not solid gold, and therefore has almost no scrap value.

14ct is good! With the dial in that shape, the gold value is about all it's worth.

A collector wants an original dial with the original finish intact. The movement might be worth a few bucks for parts if it works, but the money is only in the value of the gold for scrap.
