bishop--a couple of things. you joined yesterday and you need to give people time--it is just after 8 a.m. EDT and people are probably sleeping or as myself, on the way out of the door to do fun things. try inserting the photos rather than posting a link. why? we get spammers here all the time and a link by a new person who has not gone through the customary pleasantries--i.e., howdy and a little info, may be viewed with suspicion. you can post the pictures by downloading them from your photo site.

Nice looking watch. I'm no Longines expert, but I've seen that model before, and I'm not surprised by the plastic. Many good watches do have that type of movement support. There are advantages to using plastic for the movement support from what I understand, although it may "look cheap", I think they are supposed to hold the movement better, while giving a little "cushion" in case of shock - at least that's what I've heard. I don't think that alone would be enough to doubt it's authenticity, and it otherwise looks like the real deal to me,but given a little more time, and maybe a few larger pictures, I'm sure others with more expertise will chime in.

...BTW, welcome to our forum! :thumbup1:
