Hi all,

I've inherited a Longines pocket watch, and love to know more about it. I tried to do some Google search, and I think it's an silver chronograph with serial number 4969844 and caliber 19.73N.

Can anyone tell me more?

(The watch works like a charm by the way, so I suppose it's in good condition.)

The serial number dates it to 1930 which jives with the time the 19.73 was produced (introduced in 1909). Don't use it without having it serviced! The oils are undoubtably dry and you will ruin the parts without proper lubrication. Nice watch and even better heirloom.
