Greetings All

I have just acquired what appears to be a La Grande Classique but the back is unusual with no inscription or serial number/s apart from Longines and emblem. Is it a fake? If it is not, can anyone tell me what model / date it is?

Well mikeyt_53 took your advice (although I was a bit worried that I may damage it) and your suspicions were correct. a nice Japanese movement lurking inside! Many thanks anyway.
