Hi everyone, forst time poster and grateful to have found this forum!

I've just inherited a circa 1964 Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. It is working but is a watch that has been worn for almost 50 years so has plenty of scratches and marks on it. I was hoping you could advise me as to just how desirable a watch like this is, and some idea as to it's value. It has sentimental value but it is unlikely to be worn, so will probably try to sell it. Any advise on how to do that would also be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Thanks ulack (great name by the way!). The reason I would consider selling it is that it will be sitting around, unused otherwise. I would much sooner have it in the hands of someone who appreciated it, admired the quality and hopefully wore it. Does the fact that it is well used (as the pic shows) count against it?
